Just the nature of the market I think. Aussie regularly takes big drops on normal/expected and even sometimes positive announcements before slowly recovering. Kind of the opposite to most of the smaller cap stocks I have who's share price will climb on a whim but slowly erode between announcements. Aussie generally has a kind of upward/positive pressure thanks to it's strong fundamentals and less speculative nature, but people still get easily frightened which knocks it down from time to time.
