Hi Sabine, the deer in the headlights analogy was in reference to the larger players around us that could make TO attempts. Like many other i think SH will see more value if SPR can go it alone as opposed to the quick sugar hit of a TO. I was referring to a deer standing still in the headlights in comparison to SPR dropping the MRE and then not following it up with more drilling results in the near term due to the pause in drilling. Potentially making us more vulnerable to a TO for a longer period.
RMS is approximately just over double our MC and has already acquired a significant stake. That said any takeover of SPR by RMS would represent as massive investment for them. If the SP continues to rise there's a reasonable chance that the SPR MC could move out of reach for RMS providing additional TO protection or at the very least forcing a higher price offer. Both would be better outcomes for SH in my opinion.
