the trick will be communicating a clear pathway to market (even if vague, but trackable) so would be investors aren’t discouraged by stock analysts’ best guesses of +5 yrs.

if investors can’t expect a return on investment, they’ll go elsewhere, no matter who is CEO.

it’s important for management to not loose sight of selling the future prospects to investors, or there will be no one to fund the research to get there.

I think while the departing CEO achieved much, for the last 3 years this has not been one of the highlights. Hopefully with solid foundations in place the focus shifts to market.
