Another thought came to my mind is that, some people may be available on the following

1. Local directory phone number
2. Linkedin / other social groups
3. Same geographical location - example if anyone is available in Townsville, I am happy to give a try
4. Explore other avenues to collect mobile phone number or even email id (google search)

Let us start with the largest holders going down the list to start with. I have a feel these methods may be more successful compared to a letter which should be our last/least preferred option as the chances of success depends on the person correctly receiving our letter and promptly responding back etc. Just my thoughts
