I wouldn't be so sure those larger holders are happy. I would definitely approach them after an initial effort to build a directory of shares willing to vote KC out.
If you go to them saying, hey, I built a list of holders representing X percent of the total by asking around in HC and LSE for just a month, if X looks good, they might wonder. Wouldn't be the first time this happens.
