Probably not . Not on modern renewables that l'm aware of anyway .
But that's only because no one has tried to yet ........
What we do know is that countries all around the world are running off more and more renewables every year .
Breaking records every year .
What we also know is that renewables are continuing to get cheaper and better each year.
Battery technology continues to improve. Energy densities are well up .
Mining resources are up . Now we're seeing a glut of nickel etc .
Globally investment in renewables dwarfs all the other technologies.
This year we have see industrial giants like Germany get over 50% of their power from renewables .
We are seeing countries like China turning the corner . Their emissions are peaking and their coal fired power is starting to all.
100% renewables is only a matter of time.
