We both understand the importance of Akida & Airbus. Airbus is the Euro equivalent of Boeing meaning they do not just manufacture military aircraft and airliners. Just like Boeing they manufacture missles, rockets, space station modules and other high tech stuff ti kill people. Like it or not this is where most disruptive technology is developed that quickly becomes ubiquitous in consumer products.

For example, Defence & particularly aerospace are solely responsible for the semiconductors we all take for granted today. The fledgling startups like Texas, Fairchild & others morphed into the Intels of today with massive research & development funding by the defence industry.

A critical turning point for semiconductors was the destruction of the Thanh Hóa Bridge in 1972. The Americans had been trying to destroy this target for years as evidenced by the literally 1000's of bomb craters that surrounded this bridge. A semiconductor developed by the above companies was incorporated into a gravity bomb. This semiconductor allowed control of guide fins to track a laser target designator aimed at the bridge - the first successful laser guided bomb. This event changed the course of warfare and the semiconductor industry.

The uptake of Akida by defence/aerospace follows a path worn by select companies with disruptive technologies that when eventually commercialised reap enormous profits. Think semiconductors, GPS, carbon fibre, Kevlar, Teflon....I'm confident where BRN is going. From killing people to Iot, Akida is only a short time away from being everywhere.

BTW the book "Chip Wars" is a history of semiconductor development & how the military, manufacturing industry, war, economics, in fact the entire world is dominated by and totally dependent upon a handful of semiconductor companies. Akida may very well soon be at the same table.
