I'm only posting this because I keep seeing people here saying the lithium price has bounced. I've been seeing it for about six months, when in reality the price has been in steady decline for 18 months with only a dead cat bounce about a year ago before continuing down to new lows. Today we just hit a fresh multi year low. I've shown the China price here because it's the one most commonly watched and quoted, but the American price also just hit a fresh multi year low. No need to keep pretending the price has bounced. Even if it bounces 10-20% it's floundering around a very low price. We did see it jump over 10% within a week back in May for example, but early the next month a fresh multi year low was hit. More that a 10-20% jump is needed to justify saying it has bounced.

And, yes, absolutely, the Chinese government is incredibly evil and harmful and they're deliberately pushing the price down. That's not a reason to want to hold a lithium stock, it's a reason not to.

And yes, AGY's price historically tracked the lithium price. Partly because a few years ago there was faith it would be able to produce, and then because faith in AGY crashed in unison with the lithium price. At this point a significantly rising lithium price (which doesn't seem likely in the next six months anyway) wouldn't increase AGY's price to the same extent it dropped, because the last time the lithium price was that high, optimism about AGY producing was also higher.

Cry about me posting if you wish, but I joined this conversation years ago, am watching the show now, and when people in a conversation speak nonsense there's something of an urge if not responsibility to correct it, and you shouldn't complain about that anyway.

A rising lithium price, expectations of a lovely rise in production, a garage full of supercars, people only attacking because they don't like tall poppies (LOL, it might be because you lead them down a path to financial harm and the only thing tall about you is your story telling), enough money on hand to last AGY for years, the chart says we have a good chance of seeing 12c soon... it seems many contributors here have vivid imaginations or impressive willingness to bend the truth, and a hatred of anyone pointing out the reality.
