You are comparing apples to apples when it is not the case. Different mechanistic actions require different dosing protocols.

This validates Bisantrene's pleiotropic activity against the best anthracycline on the market while it wasn't dosed optimally and Dox dosed relentlessly, which would be deemed unethical today because of the cardiotoxicity.

The in vitro sensitivity assays clearly show a difference in patient selectivity between Bis and Dox, and since they have different mechanisms of action that have been shown to synergise, then the combination of both in patients should be synergistic as well as hopefully cardioprotective.

Plenty of lines of evidence supporting the synergy as well as cardioprotection of Bis with Dox.
