I got another 85 mls last night and yesterday. So I'm up to 165 mls just for November. I got higher than anyone it seems, but it's still been another wet 24 hours over the northern NSW grain belt. 20 to 50 mls over most of the grain belt. Only been a few dry days this month. I'm up to 830 mls for the year.
There will be massive quality downgrades now, and more rain is forecast for every day for the rest of the week.
Not that there is much canola grown here, but what there was, was all in windrows. I can see some of those windrows being washed away. Wheat and barley crops are getting lower and lower by the day.
One contractor I know has done 20 hours harvest in 10 days.
Starting to get worried about getting summer crop planted now. I have 40% in, but that's on all the land with a slope. We are left with the flat stuff to go, and it's under 20 cm of water right now.
