Nah, I don't watch the AFL on telly anymore, like you, a few minutes.
Country footy is going the same way with protecting the head but most blokes know each other so they'll do the right thing there with sling tackles but won't back off with a whack in the guts or a brutal tackle or shirt front. It's still good to watch and unless you get an umpire who's never played they let those things go mostly.
