...can we imagine small caps doing well while AI mega techs experience a correction if it comes to that?

...is the small cap run simply speculative money aka gambling searching for a new house OR is it truly a revitalised forward outlook for small cap stocks ahead?

...if it is the latter, then the premise must be that a lower interest rate environment amidst a soft landing scenario paves way for a recovery for smaller cap stocks which have been badly beaten down. The market is buying hope on this. And for awhile hope will deliver higher prices. But IMO they (better forward outlook) won't be realised.

...unfortunately, we don't have the same exuberance on our local market, one DRO disaster has caused market speculators to draw back from risk- it must be a big wake up call (when least expected).
