Thanks for that - looks like it's worth keeping an eye on, as Simon has also mentioned he needs to add female directors to the board.
Another question is the acquisition of properties by related parties, and there was one transaction I couldn't clear up.
In July 2020 articles said DGL would buy a property in Christchurch (102-114 Shands Road) to construct new chemical facility and office.
In February 2023 the 1H 2023 report said Shands Road was sold in December 2022 for $6.8m. Looks like it was still an empty lot at the time.
On the DGL Commercial website, it still lists Shands Road under its property portfolio. But it looks like this domain hasn't been updated since 2020. I can't get onto the Rapaki NZ website to check its portfolio. Rapaki's business filings in NZ also isn't much help.
My main concern was to be sure there's no funny business going on between related parties (e.g. DGL buying a business then selling the property to Rapaki at lower than market value).
