I think it will be sooner, scoto, given those exponential changes and resulting shockwave events (fires, floods, tides, crop failures, insect plagues, human plagues), and then there are the unknowns, like we wake up one morning to find that a coastal glacier has slipped into the sea and low-lying cities where the majority of humanity has made its home will be inundated within weeks - and the stampede to escape. And then there's the threat of WW111 with the coming of Trump if he regains the Whitehouse, which will divert attention from the climate, but make the climate threat worse.
The Baby Boomers will become known as the luckiest generation to have ever lived.
