10 day average short % of ASX volume short sold on both ASX and CHI X is 10% which is historically low since May 22 as can be seen from the graph. Yesterdays rise
Lots of other indicators trending in the right direction.
3 day data started turning positive almost in unison on multiple indicators on 1st July. Weak indication based on 2 years data.
5 day data turned positive around 8thJuly. Promising indication based on 2 years data
10 day data turned positive around 12th July. Very promising indication based on 2 years data.
The indicators consider
1. Shorts on loan and their return
2. Volumes and % short sold daily.
3. Daily volumes
4. Daily prices
5. Combinations of the above and other statistical analysis.
Up to and including todays release of aggregate shorts on loan as of 11th July there has been a reduction in shorts on loan as follows:
11 of 20 days
9 of 10 days
4 of 5 days.
I hope this is not driven by shorts covering but maybe some one has s h i t the bed.
