The EU has mandated that "gas is green" because of its role as a transitional fuel, making it totally investable. Should have seen the look on Greta Thunberg's face when that was announced.I don't know why you are so continually confident that STX will be included in the select group allowed to export. I'd put the chances at way less than 50/50. There is nothing more than West Australian Governments of all hues like to do than to look parochial., keeping 'their' gas within the State.
I think most likely it will be a differential result. MIN has made enough noise to get an export licence. Gina probably doesn't care. We won't. The likely outcome of that would be for MIN to then take us over to increase their reserves, owning WE 50/50 with Hancock Mining and the rest 100%, and export much of their share of 'our' gas.
Not what I'd prefer, but I clearly have no say in the matter. The above analysis is made with no inside knowledge. Just trying, like you, to sniff the prevailing breeze, but coming to a different conclusion.
