If you weigh up the costs for EV against gas then EV wins in today's terms. When the USA becomes energy efficient again I think that you will find a big change again unless the commodities drop at the same ratio. So if fuel goes back to $50/ barrel then lithium will have to decrease much further for the battery to stay competitive. It's a wait and see game.
