musk is now dealing with CATL for the next Gen M3P batteries for next years new model 3 juniper with a said range of 1000 kms 90% charge in 10 minutes and reduced overall weight and same cost as LFP LFMP .
He is funding trump and in return trump will remove tariffs not subsidies just tariffs .
Now if Musk has a product that's more expensive than a IRA compliant competitor but his car breaks open the range anxiety thesis giving double the range with better charging then Musk would be pretty confident in a head to head with competitors cars that he would win hence he's backed it in big by paying trump .
it probably explains why Musk has been slashing prices on model 3 and model y to make way for the new stock so the real lower out of all this is early mover Tesla owners because they're cars are now probably only worth 25% of they're new condition value .
