So in Australia - as an Australian - you cannot safely go somewhere in your own nation - and be injured in some remote place - which remote is about 99.9% of Australia -

and although being a responsible person - get a whopping bill for services which any reasonable person would consider as being expected that the nation would provide for it's citizens -------- for free?

Well not entirely true pintoho.

Residents of Qld and Tasmania have free ambulance in their home states.

But a small annual fee will cover you for ambulance services. As low as $50ish
