Everyone knows about this union since its inception in the 90's and it's previous incarnations. They were thuggish back then and they have kept it up with tacit support of the ACTU and Labor Govts.
For the union movement and the ALP to be declaring shock and horror speaks to the heart of the problem and who the enablers are. The whole trades sector knows who they are, who the other unions are and how their reps are all strong arm thugs given the opportunity.
The big builders have jumped into bed with these guys to monopolise the govt contracts and lockout smaller builders in the private sector. The executives of those building companies should be hauled before the courts and witness sub contractors be allowed to testify anonymously their experiences of coersion and strong arming.
