i don't think the general market has any clue that over 90% of Pangaea's land that Empire took on is at depths where it is, at the very least marginally frackable, and certainly not as effectively as reservoir in a preferable stress environment. Pangaea was on the block for five or more years and nobody wanted it. The testing Pangaea did was enough for anyone to see the reality of the position. Ask Alex when he plans on drilling these blocks.

There's a perception, and some of it reality, that Tamboran has heavier financing requirements. Time will tell which portions require Tamboran funding and what doesn't. It's reasonably clear that Tamboran intends to pay fees rather than build a 1 bcf/d pipe to the east coast, but in the meantime the lack of FID on that weighs on TBN. The promise to capture carbon and operate in the Darwin area isn't free...again it weighs on the company whether they end up financing it or not.

i would add that Alex has been effective in using available services and operated well, he deserves kudos for that.

So there's plenty of reasons EEG is currently doing well. Enjoy the shorter term trade, make up your own mind as things evolve. You're doing better being in EEG at the moment. Good for you.
