similar dividend as last year with a higher payout
You may very well be correct, but I have some doubts.
The statutory NPAT for 2023 was around $87m and reflected EPS of $0.16 from which they paid a dividend of $0.18.
I estimate the statutory NPAT for 2024 to be around $60m which represents EPS of about $0.10.
Given that they've paid out $0.085 in dividends after the half year result, the scope to pay out a similar dividend to last year seems limited even though the underlying result is quite solid under the circumstances and in line with their skill levels.
