Agree with you. As predicted, once they started to do the capital returns the rug was always going to be pulled. There is a high degree of uncertainty and volitility with the residual business and its future. I would speculate it does not have critical mass to warrant ASX listing. So now, once a relatively illiquid stock will become potentially a capital trap for punters.
GLTA, I hope my words are proven wrong and whoever is still with the company do well and recieve a fair rent for their capital.
