TBH I think this is why they have no deal on the table. Rennie has no idea which way forwards apart from a scattergun approach, they can’t produce forward looking costs, they have never been able to settle on a plan and proven with time that they were right or within a ballpark.

I mean imagine going into the data room 2 years ago and asking what is the dosage approved by the FDA? Have you run dosage trials? Show us your planning for trials and your estimates. I can imagine these BP’s have looked at it and thought “promising but wow, what a mess!” I’d have no doubt PR has told them he doesn’t want interference and wants to run the company how he wants.

Let’s be serious, naming the initial part of the phase III as such was so misleading its own way. I was flabbergasted that we were doing dosage trials right before the phase III. My mistake for not realising that they weren’t done!

With respect to PR, IMO he is totally responsible for the destruction of capital. His timelines have all been out of whack, he’s never been able to provide a cost for trials, nor manage costs or the project as a whole.

I’m certain iPPS will get there, but I don’t think it will be because PR was a good CEO, Chairman, manager or the like, it’ll be because the product was a no brainer, almost in spite of PR if you will.

Anyway, rant done, I still think there’s a great future here, it’s just going to take longer than I expected.
