I can only think that the board believes they're genuinely onto something
Because if theyre wrong, theyll need to raise at a lower price

Usually i think even if a board was bullish, theyd still want to raise before the next results to give CR participants liquidity, and simply because it needs to be done (they need the cash to continue exploration)
in saying that though, they're planning a new drilling program to commence shortly, so there will be plenty more newsflow to come. The upcoming drilling program should be more exciting as they now have a better understanding of where to drill, and they'll be drilling deeper where theyve found the high grade gold
The assays to date have been highly encouraging, and the market has reacted positively to every batch so far (each batch seems to increase confidence in the boards theory)
