Picture this, and this is all hypothetical but very real. Credit downgrades to a company, will send them to bankruptcy. A ZIP line if you will. When the hard times hit, everyone will be in for an awakening. Unless you have deeper pockets to allow a rescue, that probability is unlikely, because ultimately competing with big incumbent banks who control a large level of all our wealth: is a no win situation.
