I don't think BOD care much about the SOI, I've said before: if IMU is worth say $10b in all of its entirety then that's what BP will pay. whether we have 5b SOI or 20b SOI, it's still only worth the $10b BP say it's worth. it just means that we the SH have to divvy that $10b between the 5b or 20b shares.
