yeah, they're still doing a lot of R&D, the image below was posted before, but does not appear close to bringing a product to market..

I'm thinking most of these companies are not rushing into ReRAM as there are so few fabs running below 22nm and below..... most MCU's will stick with flash until its cheaper to go to smaller nodes...
not sure what this shows, but something I havent seen before. Patent class H10B 63/00
looks like they're increasing still. (although might include duplicates and side references to RERAM)
In case you can't read between the lines, my biggest fear is what market share WBT will get considering how many competitors there will be in the ReRAM space (TSMC, Qualcomm, STMicroelectronics, SK Hynix, Nuvuton , eMemory, Innostar , Global Foundries, 4DS, Sandisk, Intrinsic, Intel etc etc...) The product must be really good in order for all these companies to ditch their internal projects.
