Considering Bennett was made to resign for far less you have to think the Dato Lim is for the chopping board too. At least Seton was around then to give credence to the notion that decency mattered.

Dato Lim has surrounded himself by well paid groupies like Kenny and co so it's doubtful they can tell him to go even though it's clearly in everyone's best interests that he does not remain involved.

Also Dato Lim, beyond Quantum's 30% in Besra, has poured another $26m into Besra via the GPA. Despite his weak denials yesterday, the rumours about Quantum are not going away. So if he stays at Besra people will continue to speculate about what his intentions are with the Besra cash on its balance sheet. If the Quantum rumours are true he is going to see Besra's cash as his and a way to resolve the possible mess on the Quantum side.

The problem in business is that once you have lied to people that trust cannot be restored. The lies are all out in the open now for everyone to see.
