Yes agree Exised. Paying off debt better than paying high dividends. EVN will probably continue to incur significant capital expenditure going forward (noting $531m spent in 23/24 on growth capital, and capital expenditure will be incurred at Northparkes for the new sub-cave and at Ernest Henry (the Bert orebody looks promising).
If you like mining companies paying dividends, the coal miners are likely to pay high dividends for the foreseeable future.
