Yes exactly, Ukraine is a very progressive country by comparison although there are still elements from the soviet era but all in all Ukraine and Russia are chalk n cheese. The anal attitude coming from the backward MAGA camp is that of an extremely narrow nationalist view (we don't need to support Europe or the Ukraine, just USA all the way). Totally failing to understand international politics and the ramifications of abandoning Ukraine who were promised US support for giving up their nuclear weapons to Moscow (literally).
