Yes, $7k is nothing now and I stand by that word. It used to get you alot, but, not anymore. I was trying to think what I would do if I got $100k profit on a stock. 45% of that would go to the Tax man. I would then be left with 55k that can get me a Hyundai and maybe a quick trip to Bali at the end of the year.
Like I said inflation has drained the soul out of expectations of what such money can do.
