Not saying that this applies to this guy...but it probably does - I think there are people who are persistently negative on stocks they own so that either way they will be right. If the stock tanks, they can tell everyone they've been pointing out the "issues" for years...if the stock rockets, they make bank and pat themselves on the back, congratulating themselves for being a great investor who never sold a share.
