They both tied up alongside Berge Triglav, and then the Skardon pulled back. I suspect it wasn't to wait for the other bulk carrier, but just that it is less weather tolerant. It stood off for a while longer until the waves reduced further and has now gone back to work at the BT. Presumably both loaders will have wind / wave levels beyond which they can't operate. In this recent situation, the waves strength moved quickly through the thresholds of both vessels, so no real advantage of the OFT over the crane in this situaiton. However, in lighter condtions, there may be a situation where the OFT can operate and the crane cannot.
