BERLIN, July 19 (Reuters) - Serbia could be the first European country to have the whole supply chain from mining lithium to manufacturing electric vehicles, said EU Commission Vice President Maros Sefcovic.
"Serbia, as it looks like right now, would be the first European country which would have the whole value chain from lithium down to the electric vehicles built here in Serbia. And we are very happy about it because it's an excellent project for Serbia," said Sefcovic on Friday during a visit to Belgrade.
