I've held ASN since 2017, so not sure what reason I'd have to spread fear.
Trump will remove the US from the Paris Agreement (again) if he gets in. He's said he'll cut EV subsidies, and reduce the emissions standards that are in place to encourage the move towards EVs.
You don't think EV and battery manufacturers might reassess their plans in those circumstances?
The next 4-5 years are pretty vital in the move to electrification. It won't be ideal to have a President who is actively working against it!
