goodwill writedown

In the market update just released they didn't provided profit guidance...just referenced the $10M the brokers had come up with. Why ? Here's a clue in the update ""It should be noted that VMG will also assess the carrying value of goodwill pertaining to the Consulting division which currently stands at approximately $22 million "". The subtext is this is going to be written down - but to what figure ? So
potentially first half will be a loss if profit for the half is $5 million and goodwill is written off by more than $5 million.
