1. They practice. But forwards are limited by the call made by the exercise physiologists. Last I heard/read they dictate how many shots they can have per night to limit injuries like hamstrings. Heard a great story about Matthew Lloyd v Scott Lucas at training years ago - they would stay out for a long time having shot after shot with real heat on the competition.
2. I wonder how many of them are having a shot whilst still in oxygen debt - where of course skills drop off.
