Global markets were all down overnight.
Declines were largely due to the worldwide Microsoft outage which affected airlines, banks etc.
In Europe, the FTSE fell 49 points (.60%), the DAX fell 182 points (1.00%) and the CAC fell 52 points (.69%).
In the US, the DOW fell 377 points (.93%), the NBI fell 4 points (.098%), the NASDAQ Composite fell 144 points (.93%) and the Russell small cap index fell 13 points (.63%).
Donald Trump stated that he would "end the electric vehicle mandate on day one" and this had a negative effect on the tech stock sector. Tesla dropped 4% after the statement.
US Treasury 10 year bond yield rose to 4.243%.
Oil prices dropped - Brent crude is at US$82.61 per barrel.
Big drop in the gold price - now at US$2,400 per oz.
BITCOIN rose strongly and is sitting at US$67,234.
