While I endorse this idea, funny enough I was out to dinner last night at a large pub and offered to pay in cash. The girl behind the counter struggled to reconcile the the cash difference and I ended up just putting the meals on the credit card to save her the embarrassment and the frustration of the queue that has formed behind me.
Gotta get the kids on board if you want cash to remain.
