bondjim, care to pose some figures or numbers as to why the company is a bargain? Actually, can anyone produce some numbers as to why CTP is a bargain? Or are you just going to say it's a "bargain" because you have these optimistic dreams of CTP having many gushing wells coming out of no where? My guess is you cant explain why you think it's a bargain. The intrinsic value on the coal is $0 as it simply is not at a marketable location at the moment. The intrinsic value on the oil is $0 as there is no oil flowing at the moment. The instrincic value on the helium is $0 as your CEO doesn't even want to touch that stuff for quite a while now.
Bondjim, your true colours are shining through. Notice I addressed CTP as an energy company. By defining them as an energy company I have encompased their helium, oil, gas and coal. So no, I haven't forgotten that they aren't just about the oil. But here are the facts...
Gas - O2 wasn't marketable.
Oil - JW1 didn't flow a drop of oil.
Coal - the initial results of the coal were hidden in the announcement of JW1 being spudded to hide the fact that the coal is useless at the moment.
Helium - Your CEO is avoiding it like it's the plague.
CTP is no better than many O&G minnow companies out there that are already producing oil. In fact, there are many small cap oilers out there with a market cap under $20M that will achieve far more than CTP could ever dream of achieving. So the question remains, why is CTP a bargain? For mine, it is seriously seriously overvalued like you would not believe.
