It's a complete non-issue.
I don't know a single person with an EV that has any issues with the battery whatsoever. If it packs up under warranty, who cares? The dealership will be replacing it for free. And by the time the car is out of warranty, battery replacements will be a helluva lot cheaper and easier than they are now.
