Hoping Australian regulators/government take note of what Korean authorities are doing to try and control short selling and implement similar controls here pronto @dynofish. Not holding my breath though. If anything is to happen here, it really needs our Aussie CEO's and BOD's of effected mining companies (inc LTR) to seriously lobby for change using media and their high profile contacts as mums and dads and small retail investors simply continue to be ignored.
As well as keeping the shorters honest in terms of their transactions, it seems only fair that shorters names and activities are transparent to all investors by making their names and status public for all ASX investors to see and allow people to act accordingly to safeguard their interests.
