I'll agree with you on one point there JC. sexual predators are imo incurable. they have a personality disorder rather than a mental illness. certainly the psych program at Long Bay does nothing material to reduce recidivism among sex offenders. paedophiles and other predators should be on life. not a mere 6 years or so. they have the highest recidivism rate of all crims in the bin.
but it has nothing to do with any political party. the laws that govern trials and sentencing are too lenient on sex offenders.
