Victoria's new premier Jacinta Allan is married to a senior public servant in charge of giving a free fishing rod to every school kid as the state grapples with a mounting debt crisis.
Jacinta Allan's husband of 11 years, Yorick Piper, is on the Victorian Fisheries Authority board, having previously been a Construction Forestry Mining and Energy Union (CFMEU) official and a senior political adviser to another Labor premier.
