So so true and fact!
Metals, precious or otherwise are subject to the wildest swings on stock markets, period.
The idea as you say, is to expect pain if going "all in" too early.
The positioning has to play out.
There have been no promises of instant riches from BB and most of us LT investors. Its the gambling types who I believe have come unstuck and now in that pain you have described.
Anyway, I do sympathise with them but also, having told them all they need patience, they need to reassess their strategy of investing in mining companies in the early stages and leave some room for those 50% drops. NST being the perfect example, I was there at 50c and still there now, rode the highs and lows and now it matters not a jot what the SP is, I get divs and cap gains have already been achieved years ago. Holding whats left until I die.
Opportunity presents when the darkest of dawns appear to be too overwhelming.
Im guessing we are closer to the bottom than the top right now....Ummmm...Derrrrrrr! Lol
