The more detailed the analysis the more likely mistakes will be made, but at least I show data and describe results as they really are, as i really see them. Take the DRILL RESULTS CONFIRM HIGH-GRADE MAGMATIC SULPHIDES AT DANTE PROJECT release 13th May, Thomas shows us the first drill section for Crius with the materially high-grade basal reef assays only. Skinny buggar isn't... looks high strip and very unimpressive.
Fast forward to 20th June and DRILLING CONFIRMS DISCOVERY OF LARGE PLATREEFSTYLE COPPER-PGE SULPHIDE REEFS AT DANTE... Looks like somebody has pulled Thomas aside and told him "No,no boy, that's not how you do it... that won;t do at all". Open up photoshop, fatten them Reefs and add hanging wall low-grade the basal reef intercepts, people going to think it's too skinny!
In detail, the 5m of HW above the basal reef in hole URC003 grades an average 0.1% Cu, about no PGE3 and only 25% total Fe-Oxides, which almost certainly wouldn;t make a mining cut-off given the in-ground ore value is dominated by Ti-ilmenite and V-magnetite. URC003 isn;t much better, though at least it has some iron content...
Add the above together for a volume weighted average as reported on the cross-section...
NB:... This won;t go down well with some, but I do have a question mark over URC003 being 5m @ 0.56% Cu when it's twin diamond hole by WMC reported only 3.12m @ 0.35% Cu... looks like an outlier compared to all other assays Crius and Hyperion?
