I recently bought a a Victa lawn Mower that runs on two lithium batteries.
Brilliant light weight mower that is better than the old metal petrol models.
I also bought a vacuum cleaner - Hoover stick model with Lithium battery, excellent too.
I also bought a electric hair clipper - lithium too.
The point I am making is that the future for companies to make money is from upgrades in the batteries, as household goods have at least a five to ten year life cycle.
So battery sales will be a new vector of sales.
Now Ferrari is jumping into full EV and is providing battery replacements to its hybrid models, each time a better performing battery.
