Yes, saline water is an issue for equipment.
The main issue though is the impact it has on throughput capacity of the plant being able to produce a consistent >68-70% Fe concerntrate.
To say it can be done is probably technically correct but at what cost?
Being able to do it on a lab bench versus being able to do it at scale on site and achieve minimum required throughput targets is very very different.
