My guess is he is following up with German financial & corporate contacts, pitching for long-term supply agreements, funding support & letting them know of successful commissioning of PQF and imminent SML, as well as key players in the bureaucracy. Some of these we can guess at:

Just the sort of things board members & CEO's have to do when a company is at the entrepreneurial stages.
